The black thread makes this project hard to see, but this case is made with a very fun stitch called, "Catherine's Wheel".Materials:

Special Stitches:
Dc4tog: YO, insert hook in first st indicated, yo, pull loop through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, *yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull loop through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook*; repeat from * to * 3 times, yo, pull through all loops on hook.
Dc7tog: YO, insert hook in first st indicated, yo, pull loop through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, *yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull loop through st, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook*; repeat from * to * 6 times, yo, pull through all loops on hook.
Instructions:
Chain 41.
Row 1: Turn. Sc in next 2 st, *sk 3 chs, 7 dc in next st, sk 3 chs, sc in next 3 st*; repeat from * to *, sc in last 2 st.
Row 2: Turn. Ch 2. Dc4tog over (sc, sc, dc, dc), *ch 3, sc in next 3 st, ch 3, dc7tog over (dc, dc, sc, sc, sc, dc, dc)*; repeat from * to * across, ending with dc4tog over (dc, dc, sc, sc).
Row 3: Turn. Ch 2. 4 dc in dc4tog, *sk ch3, sc in next 3 sts, 7 dcs in dc7tog*; repeat from * to * across, ending with 4 dc in dc4tog.
Row 4: Turn. Ch 1. Sc in next 2 st, *ch3, dc7tog over (dc, dc, sc, sc, sc, dc, dc), ch3, sc in next 3 st*; repeat from * to * across, ending with sc in last 2 st.
Rows 5 - 16: Repeat rows 1-4.
Rows 17-18: Repeat rows 1 and 2. Fasten off.
Fold in half, and stitch bottom and side together, leaving the top open.
